Charging your electric vehicle from a standard 3-pin socket is slow, inefficient, and potentially dangerous for prolonged use. A dedicated home EV charger (also known as an EVSE — Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) uses a 7kW or 22kW circuit to charge up to 8× faster. DP Power Solutions installs EV chargers from leading brands including Ohme, Wallbox, Zappi, and Pod Point. We carry out a full site survey, install the dedicated circuit from the consumer unit, fit the charger unit in the optimum position, and register the installation with OZEV (formerly OLEV) where applicable. Smart chargers can be configured to charge at off-peak tariff times.
